I spent over 20 years in Credit Risk, both in the public and private sector, leading on projects within SME’s through to larger institutions including Barclays Banks and GE Capital. I moved into education in 2010 and my industry experience informs my teaching practice. I have a keen interest in developing the curriculum to include digital transformation and authentic assessments, enabling students to be ready for the working world.

I am an academic champion with CIMA, a Chartered Credit Manager (CICM), serve as an External Examiner for two universities, In addition I have worked with several UK and International Universities for the redevelopment of their UG programmes, within Accounting, Business and Finance.

My research areas focus on Gender inequality within Finance and mentoring within an educational setting.
