Driving Digital Sustainability: the DICE Network+

At the Centre for Sustainable Innovation at the University of Salford, we are proud to be a key partner in the Digital Innovation and Circular Economy (DICE) Network+, a national initiative funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC). This collaborative programme is designed to accelerate the transition to a circular economy in the digital and communication technology sectors through research, innovation, and knowledge exchange.

About the DICE Network+

Launched in 2025, the DICE Network+ brings together leading UK universities, industry partners, and policymakers to rethink how digital technologies are designed, used, and disposed of. The network aims to embed circular economy principles into the digital sector by fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and supporting:

  • Feasibility studies
  • Demonstrator projects
  • Mapping exercises
  • Co-creation workshops
